Sorry for so many questions...

Does each room at POP connect to another room?
If you link a room to your reservation, does it mean you will have connecting rooms?
What if 1 group arrives on Monday for 10 nights and the other groups arrives on Wednesday for 7 nights. Will they still connect the 2 rooms even if the length of stay is not the same?

Not a problem.

No. There are only a few rooms on each floor that are connecting.

Nope. That means they will endeavor to get those rooms 'near' each other. But not connecting unless you request connecting. And even then, it's a request, not guaranteed.

They will still link the reservations and try to get you near each other. BUT as for connecting rooms (different thing -- see above) they'll try -- but again - it's never guaranteed. I think that in that situation it might be more difficult to get connecting.

But 'near' should be probably do-able depending on time of year, how busy it is.. etc.

No, not all rooms are connecting. Even if you request connecting, you may not get it, regardless to if you arrive on the same day or not. (I think the exception is if there are more adults than children...ie, 2 adults and 4 children...)
