Hi, we havent been back from our first visit a week and I'm already looking to book again. Im thinking November mainly for the fireworks. Can, anyone tell me about November, how good are the fireworks, how busy will the parks be, whats the weather usually like, do they do EMH all year round?

First week in November there are no crowds and 5 minute wait times. Stay away from Disney during Thanksgiving week.

Assuming the OP was asking about DLP then it isnt affected by Thanksgiving.

However the weekends in November tend to be very busy as the Christmas season usually starts right after Bonfire Night.

we were there for the last fireworks display of bonfire season last year (on a Monday) - it was also the beginning of Xmas season. It was fabulous and I'd recommend that time of year to anyone. Midweek very quiet in both parks, and I thought the bonfire musically-accompanied fireworks were amazing, they lasted about 30 minutes :).

I can't remember if there was EMH every morning in November (we were offsite).

In November you have the 1st and the 11th which are public holidays and there are school holidays in all 3 zones until the 8th

Starting from the 12th it will be great as you'll have less people and all the Christmas stuff.

EMH are all year round afaik , traditionally there are only fireworks on the bonfire weekend but with the Dreams spectacle and the 20th who knows what will be going on then as night entertainment nor until what times the park will be open to.

Here are last years hours showing EMH and opening times

Weather can be cold but not freezing,we don't normally get snow until the end of November/start of December at the earliest. :goodvibes

Thanks for your help yet again. So its likely to be very busy up until 8th if schools are off? I've read somewhere that there are 3 nights of fireworks for bonfire night? I can't remember where I read that though! Going to look for it now.

I was there the same time as DLPDaft and we found it to be the same. We got loads done that week (We stayed Mon - Thurs at the SL).

We watched the fireworks from the waterfront in front of SL on the last of the three nights and had a great view of everything. I was surprised by how long the bonfire spectacle went on for. It seemed to be on for aaaages and it was so enjoyable but if that week is going to be mad busy with school holidays I would wait until after the 12th because with all the extra Christmas shows to see you will be spoilt for choice. We barely managed to cram it all in and to be honest if the fireworks had not been on it wouldn't have taken from the brilliant trip we had.
Also it was not too cold while we were there (no need for gloves like in March) but DD and DS were exhausted by fireworks time and really didnt take it all in. They started at 8.30pm.

Bonfire fireworks are on 5th, 7th and 9th November this year :).

School holidays were over on the 3rd of November last year so it looks like you two got lucky and missed them :thumbsup2

Its ok Carrie, karma is well and truely going to catch up with me the 7th and 8th of May crowdwise methinks :rotfl2:
