We have a reservation for Cape May Cafe on one of our EPCOT days. We plan to eat and then return to EPCOT. It just occurred to me that we may need a park hopper to do this. We don't like to hop around, so we just get the regular tickets. So...the first question is, do we need a park hopper to do this and if so, can we just get a one day park hopper and keep the rest of our days as one park? Thanks for your help! :goodvibes

You do not need a park hopper to leave and re-enter the SAME park on the same day.

Enjoy your meal at Cape May's. This is one of two buffets we continue to frequent at WDW. Boma is the other.:thumbsup2

Good choice on Cape May. Even though it is a seafood buffet you will find something for everyone. It is busy so the food is replaced frequently and it was so good and fresh. Enjoy.

We love Cape May! we eat there usually 2x per trip.AS the pp mentioned you do not need a park hopper to re-enter the same park in one day.But for future reference, A park hopper costs the same flat amount regardless of whether you need it for 1 day or 5 days and whether you add it on Day 1 of your vacation or the LAST day of your vacation.

WHAT?!!!!! I've been overlooking Cape May for dinner for years!:sad1:
I need to go!!!

Look...I wouldn't say the Oreo Bon-bons, in and of themselves, are the reason to visit Cape May. They're good, but they're not THAT good.

But the seafood is pretty good (and that's coming from a New Englander who gets fresh/great seafood on a regular basis), the "American" side of the buffet is very good, AND the Oreo Bon bons are amazing.

If you don't like seafood...maybe avoid the place. If you look at the menu on allears.net and you see a bunch of stuff that looks good to you.....DEFINITELY make an ADR.

I wanted to go for our trip in October but lost a coin flip to my wife, who wanted to try Cat Cora's place (which we've never been to before)!

YES, THEY ARE!!! The oreo bons bons are the best thing on the buffet.:rotfl::rotfl: I'm always afraid I'll be too full to eat them after the meal, so make a point of eating some as my appetizer every time I go.:rotfl::rotfl:

My mom is not a fan of seafood and won't touch clams, mussels, crab legs, or boiled shrimp, but still loves Cape May.

I agree they're the best thing on the buffet (and that's not a knock on the buffet...just a testament to how good they are).

I just mean: If NOTHING else looks good to you (or you REALLY don't like seafood)...it might be tough to justify spending $30 for the bon bons, alone. It would be for me, anyway. :)

We went for the first time last year when we stayed at BC. This year we are not staying at BC but I still made and ADR for Cape May. Doing same thing as you going on a day that we are at Epcot.

I would highly consider paying $30 just for all you can eat bon-bons - I know, I'm a freak. I paid $20+ for the MK dessert party, and I'd rather have the bon-bons over anything I had there.

Plus, I can also get all the skim milk I can drink to wash them down for that $30!!

I suppose I'm sorta spoiled. My wife makes them (from one of the recipes we found on line) for us, periodically.

Next batch is for our 4th of July party..... :)

Hmmm, too bad I see you're in CT. You might have had a surprise guest drop by the the 4th.

Guess I'll have to wait until Dec...

The more, the merrier.

As it turns out..I "won" the opportunity to have a Budweiser House Party on the 4th. Basically, you get a bunch of free stuff from Bud (including beer, money..in the form of visa gift cards...toward food, and some other goodies) to host the party. Makes this years shindig (which we do every year, anyway) sorta nice. :)
