Okay! We bought the plane tickets, we are planning on 4 days (one park per day) at US/IOA, and we found a house to rent. Going Jan 7-12. Now for the questions about the parks...

Tell me about the lockers! Which rides require locker use?

Mapping out our days - I assume we should do WWoHP first? We won't have early entry, so what should be our plan at rope drop? FJ or Ollivanders? What should our "first do" be at US?

Eating - We'll plan on eating at least one meal a day in the parks, so two meals in US and 2 in IOA. What are our best options? I am ok with counter service/fast food stuff some of the time, but would like at least one sit-down meal (Mythos?). Do we need ressies, or can we walk up and get a table?

Parking - we'll have a rental car. What's the deal for parking? Is there a tram?

I am sure I'll have more questions soon!

Lockers are required at Forbidden Journey, Dragon Challenge, Hulk, Rip Ride Rockit, Mummy and Men in Black.

It is a tough call early January. I would made reservations. If you look at the food sticky, you can find all the menus. Reservations can be made at www.opentable.com

Do Ollivander's first. The line gets very long, very quickly. Either that or leave it until the end of the day.

Parking is $15/day. There is no tram. You have to walk from the parking garage.

Definitely have lunch at Mythos... We had lunch one day, and went another day just to have dessert (chocolate banana gooey cake... oh, my...) Anyway, definitely make reservations. We were there mid-November, and the park was NOT super busy, but we wouldn't have been able to get in either day without reservations.

Rather than limiting yourself to dining choices in the parks, remember to consider all of the CityWalk restaurants - not sure which ones are open for lunch, but there are lots of great restaurants there that provide much more variety than you'll find in the parks. (It's a 5-minute walk, or less, from the gate of either park to City Walk.)

Ollivanders should be your first stop since that line grows very quickly. At the Studios, you might head for Despicable Me first since its new. Eating - We'll plan on eating at least one meal a day in the parks, so two meals in US and 2 in IOA. What are our best options? You should be OK w/o ressies that time of year but you can either use Open Table or you could walk up. Since it doesn't open until 11am, that might be a good time to eat lunch. For table service, I would recommend Mythos at IOA and Finnegan's at the Studios. Both are very good.

Parking - we'll have a rental car. What's the deal for parking? Is there a tram? No tram...parking is $15.00 for the day.

I am sure I'll have more questions soon!
My answers above.
