Couple of questions.
1. The APs that Disney give you when you have a Disney wedding, when do you get them? When you turn up for your wedding or earlier? I thought I saw someone mention that they activated theirs for the PS. Do you get them this early?
2. I’ve also seen some people mention that they were putting the songs that they wanted for their ceremony onto an Ipod, and then paying for the speaker and what not set up. I can’t find this option anywhere, is it available and does anyone know roughly how much it costs?
3. Are there any Disbrides from Australia about? I’d love to compare notes on everything that they went through. I know there are other international Disbrides about, but I haven’t seen any Aussies.
4. Where is the best place to have a Dessert Party to view Wishes?
5. What’s the weather like in March? I know I could find this info if I searched the main area of Dis, but hey, I’m already asking a bunch of questions, so why not just ask it now. Also, what’s it like in November? I know it rains often in Florida, but not for long at a time. Can you give me a quick run down of this for these months.
There are probably a lot of other questions, but I’m sure I’ll get to them. Plenty of time...

1. We receievd our AP's after we signed our contract and sent in our deposit (we are a Wishes wedding) We activated them in June and our wedding is in October.

2. I know some brides have done it but I don't know the cost... we are at the Wedding Pavilion and using the organist.

4. The only place to have a dessert party that can view wishes is from the Grand Floridian Marina. You have to pay extra to pipe in the music. If you are having an escape wedding you can rent the Grand One Yacht for Wishes and get closer, you can have catering aboard esentially creating your own dessert party.

5. The weather in March and November should be very pleasant. It can range anywhere from warm to cold... Florida weather is very unpredictable. November is still hurricane season but we normally don't see too much action at that time.

2. i was quoted either 350 or 750 to do the set up in the living seas because it's an older location or something. the price will be different for another venue, i'm sure.

3. i haven't seen any, we have many uk girls on here and there was someone from france not too long ago!

welcome!

We paid $250 for the iPod setup at the Attic at BoardWalk Inn. It's different for every venue. (Also, this price didn't include a technician to run it, just a cable, a mixer, and 2 speakers.)

I received my ap as soon as I signed the contract which was about a week after we did it!! I am activating mine in December when we go to the ps ! but we are getting married in july!

Thankyou! That's just what I wanted to hear about the APs!
Can you do the yacht thingy if you're planning a wishes wedding?

AP's are annual passes. Disney gives them to you as a gift for having a wedding.

I was quoted $450 for ipod setup in the whitehall room, that was with a technincian, T think.

Your awesome thank you !
*Special dance time*:cool1: :rotfl2: :worship:(haha Bill and Ted "We're not worthy, we're not worthy!"

Now is there a page about these passes?

The GF Marina is not the only venue available for a Wishes Dessert Party. I am having my DP at Sago Cay Pointe at the GF for my (escape) VR next April. My planner sent me pics of the site and its beautiful. Let me know if you want to see the pics.

Does Disney offer a discount if you don't need the AP's? Also, I know I can add the dining plan to it as well, but how do I go about doing that? Thanks

That would be great! Do you know which of the options is closest to viewing the show like it's supposed to be seen?

Here are the pics my planner (Tanis) sent me. She said that Sago Cay Pointe is more private that the Marina and is a little closer to the fireworks. I will have about 16 guests at my VR so it should be perfect. DH and I are going to look at it when we're in WDW next month :cool1:

Neither. Well, Sago Cay is a few feet closer to the MK than the Marina, but both face the side of the castle, so the fireworks will not appear the same way they do when you're standing in front of the castle. But it still looks cool! :thumbsup2

No discount, but what you get are AP vouchers that you can activate at any time. So if you already have APs, you can hang on to them til yours expire. The dining plan is added when you make your hotel reservation. You tell the agent that you want to book a Magic Your Way Package with the Dining Plan and that you have APs, and they punch in whatever code applies.
