Ok i guess being a pro to DLP i should know these but I don't or have forgotton.

1-Stroller hire, I don't think im going to take my buggy as DD loves walking and is getting to big for hers. So how much would a stroller cost to rent if i needed to hire one, also are these still free for those with a dream AP?

2-Locker hire, how much do the lockers cost inside the park? Also to leave your suitcases?

3-Is it worth purchasing the Dream AP for 20% off resturants?

I think that is all for the time being :goodvibes

can't help you with the first 2 but we found that restaurant food for 3 was quite expensive so the AP helped but I thought we only got 10% off food??? Maybe i'm just a bit confused lol, or i've been fiddled by disney :scared1: If you get a dream AP you can put an item of luggage in guest storage for free so that would make storing your bags a bit cheaper!

Having just returned can help with a couple of the questions -
Stroller hire, cost us 7.50 euros per day we hired, and it seemed that guests with AP's were getting free stroller hire.
Luggage - we left our two rather large bags on wheels/holdalls with the baggage place next to guest relations on our last day so we could make the most of a whole day in the park and we were charged 5 euros, 2.50 per bag, and noted that they charge 4.50 per suitcase, not sure whether any of this is free for AP holders, but were told it would be free to leave in the baggage area of our hotel but then of course we would have to leave park slightly earlier to go collect from the hotel.
Hope this has helped somewhat.

I thought it was 20% maybe i am wrong or just hoping i would get lucky lol!

Emma, a Dream AP gives 20% off shopping and 10% off food, so rest assured you haven't been "done", Sam. :goodvibes

Emma, if you decide not to buy one then there are also large lockers for hire at the station, I think someone once said they were €9.

Stroller hire is free for Dream AP holders - or at least it still was when we were there with granddaughter in March

woohoo thats good news! The lockers were 9.50 when we went a few weeks ago. They're huge we had 3 big holdall bag things and a rucksack with plenty of room left over

How much are the small lockers in the Disneyland Park or are these the ones everyone is talking about? Was hoping that they are small ones so i can lock away change of clothes for Kyra (incase of accidents lol) etc as i wont be bringing the buggy (clearly insane on that part lol).

Emma the lockers that sam is talking about are in the train station.

Guest services will let you leave a bag with clothes in, and will charge you 2.50euro for that. This is free if you have a Dream AP.

Thankyou :) Im just trying to decide if getting a dream AP will save me money.

Dream APs are handy if you're planning on doing any major shopping sprees :goodvibes

I just think that the 179 Euros i could spend on the AP i could spend on buying stuff, it would make sense to buy one if i was planning a trip after January but sadly i wont be going back till 2010 as im going on holiday with my family next Summer.

Decisions, decisions, decisions :lmao:

I would happily put money on you going back before then!

our dream passes paid for themselves on the first trip - what with shopping, eating, entrance, stroller hire, free drinks and the cloakroom.
but the real reason we bought them was for EMH - sometimes we like to stay in explorers or dream castle etc.
we might even camp this time.

Emma to be honest, in your situation, I don't think its worth buying a Dream AP. Both your next trips to DLRP include tickets already don't they. Kyra isn't 3 next time you go, so you won't get her AP free then. It doesn't seem good sense to buy your AP in September, as your next trip in January 09 is already booked and includes park tickets.

The kids free offer might not be available in January, and if it isn't, and you're really not intending going again until 2010, you'll have effectively lost at least a years worth of AP.

I think, when you next go to DLRP after January 2009, and at that time if you decide you will be making return visits frequently, thats the time to buy your APs.

Can you tell I number-crunch DLRP trips a lot :surfweb: :rotfl: ???

Elaine

I agree with Elaine ~ I think you'd be better leaving buying an AP for now. You've already got tickets included so use the money for spends instead. If they extend the under 7 free offer through January you could always consider buying an AP then.

Is there any reason why you don't want to bring your own buggy? None of my DDs could have managed all day at Disney without a buggy to rest their legs for a little while when they were Kyra's age. If you bring your buggy then you've got somewhere to hang an emergency change of clothes for her.

. . . Luggage - we left our two rather large bags on wheels/holdalls with the baggage place next to guest relations . . . we were charged 5 euros, 2.50 per bag, and noted that they charge 4.50 per suitcase . . .
We will have two carry-on bags with wheels (55 x 35 x 25 cm, or 20 x 14 x 10 inches)

Does anyone know if DLP charges 2.50 EUR or 4.50 EUR for a bag this size? Thanks.

Woody

It really does seem pointless getting a AP when i wont get any use out of it esp as both next trips include tickets.

Also i will be taking a buggy now after todays incident has made me see the light. Kyra loves walking, but trying to do a runner every 5 mins is no fun and neither is looking like a idiot chasing her lol.

Sorry, I've never been charged because I've got a Dream AP.

If you go expecting to pay €4.50 then it can only be a pleasant surprise if you're charged less! :goodvibes
