Questions on TRANSFERS!!!

If you are doing a points transfer is it wiser to keep the fact that money will be changing hands from Member services? Is it "against the rules" to be exchanging money for points? How does the exchange of money normally happen? Is paypal the usual source of the exchange? What is your suggestion as to how to handle a transfer and what has been any experiences you have had with transfers? Thanks

MS will not allow transfer knowing there is $ involved for compensation.

Page 13 DVC Planner - " members are prohibited from receiving compensation for engaging in any transferring of Vacation Points."

As to what you've asked about some sort of payment.... not sure but i don't think The Dis posting guidelines allow for elaborating upon this idea...

So, if I'm understanding everyone, points that I banked last year are not transferable to another person ? I just made a ressie at Saratoga for October and they banked this year's points for me, so I can't even transfer any of this year's points ? Bummer...

Banked points cannot be transfered, but transfered points can be banked.
