Questions on DD hotels

My sister will be going to WDW in March 2009. They are looking to keep the costs low (because we will all be going together again in Nov. 2009). They are considering staying at an offsite hotel, but have a few questions (that I kindly offered to post for them!). Here is what they are looking for:

1. Hotel within walking distance to DD
2. Can accomodate 5 in a room
3. Shuttle service to WDW and Universal
5. Nice price!

Does any such beast exist?

Here's a website for the Downtown Disney hotels:

They all have free shuttle service to WDW ... walking distance to DD depends on how far you like to walk , but you can see where they're located and judge ... they don't have shuttle service to Universal as far as I know.

You may have to do a bit more legwork to find a hotel that provides shuttles to WDW and Universal.

It's closer to Universal but does offer shuttles to WDW.

The Royal Plaza at DTD accomodates 5, is a bit of a distance from DTD/PI, but is definitely walkable. They often offer a good price. Check http://www.mousesavers.com/ for discounts.
As far as busses to UO? I don't know.
