Questions on bounce back codes

I keep seeing people talking about how they got a code while on their last trip and had to book it right then to get the code, but it was like 40% off. So I have some questions....

are they still doing this? We're going in November, any idea if it will happen?

Does EVERYONE get this offer, or is it like the elusive postcard code and you have to be very very lucky? Does where you stay (i.e. deluxe vs value) increase your luck?

Do you have to stay in the same hotel as you received the bounce back?

What if you are lucky and get a code...I understand you have to book right then and there before you check out for this trip.....but what if you're not positive about your dates, are you allowed to change the dates at all? Our vacation dates can't really be predicted a year in advance, it depends on my husband's case load....normally he has a clue 6 months ahead, but not a year ahead.

How far ahead can you book.....for example, we're going in November 2008....can I use the bounce back to book for December 2009?

Pretty much everyone gets one. If theres not one in your room just ask the front desk. If there is one in november it would probably be good until the end of next year with certain blackout/travel dates. You dont have to stay in the same resort. You can modify the dates later but you do need to but the deposit down at the time you book it. You can also change your resort after you check out.

What about if you already reserved a future trip and when you get to the resort on your current trip, could you then modify your future ressies with the Bounce Back discount?

Just call the number from the resort room ~ they might be able to transfer your deposit to the new BB reservation - we've changed codes to a better code while holding a reservation and that's the way they take care of it.

Do you know if they offer this program all the time? We are planning a trip in Feb. and would be considering another trip in June and it would be great to take advantage of this while we are there.

I'm sorry, I don't know for sure, but everyone I know who has been for almost a yr has had the option to book a bounceback offer.

Last December ( early in the month) we would have liked to book a BB offer, but the dates were only thru Spring and we were not planning on returning that soon. At the time we did not know the dates and resort could be modified from home. Well, we knew, but not dates other then the ones offered the day we called.
