Questions on booking with AAA

We are planning on going from Nov 26 to Dec 6 and staying at Pop. I have a few questions I am still not sure about.
we have aaa.
we want the dining plan.
we will purchase a 9 or 10 day pass with park hopper, and pluses option.
SHould we book a room only with them? and add the dining plan to that with them?
Then buy our tickets through whatever cheapest source we find?
Also, if we find a "code" later on can we apply that with AAA?
It is myself, husband, 2 children and MIL and FIL, if that matters>

Well, you wont be able to add dining to the package uneless you buy tickets through AAA. You would have to do the whole package with AAA to get the dining.

if you want the dining, you have to purchase a package anyway, so why not book it to begin with. To get the AAA discount with a package, you must book thru AAA. They can add anything you want to it, ie. dining and park passes however you want them. It is also my understanding that AAA ta's can add any code that might come out later. Sometimes this means you lose the AAA room discount (the only part of the pkg that's discounted anyway) as happened with the free dining last year. In order to get free dining you had to pay "rack rate" for your room. But, in most cases, it was still a savings. Whatever the code is, and if, you can then decide which is the better deal.

There are a couple of good AAA ta's on these boards and I'm sure they can help more.
