Questions on AP

I am thinking of getting an AP. When I get the confirmation number I will enter it into MDE. Will I still need to go to guest services? I have previous magic bands even though we will be staying offsite starting 2/4. I assume it will just transfer to my bands?

Also, we have a resv at CR starting 5/31. With me having an AP and DH having a reg. pass, we should be able to make FP selections 30 days in advance for the 2/4 trip no problem, correct?

Lastly, the 10% off merchandise that comes with the pass has no minimum, correct? (Like with the Disney Visa, you have to spend at least $50).

Yes go to GR to get your AP card. You will need it (and ID) to get your discounts, parking etc.

No minimum on shopping.

After you use your AP (which activates it) you will be able to customize AP MagicBands.

Yes, you need to stop into guest relations to activate it make sure everyone is with you and everyone 18+ has an id. The date you do this is your renewal date. Make sure you get a passholder card and discount booklet. there's been reports of some cast members skipping the card and telling people their magic band is all they need. the card is much easier for the parking/discount side of things.

transfer isn't the right wording. Everything is connected to a person, so when you get your ap it'll just connect to a person and everything connected will work with it if that makes sense..

Also don't forget to peak at the discounts for your upcoming trips, there is a passholder one that may cover your feburary trip that might save you a couple more dollars for the room.

Forgot to add that this is a non resident AP. So we will have to pay to park the first day before going to GR at the park (remember staying offsite in Feb). Will they refund the $20 there or am I out of luck? I am the only one getting an AP.

I am concerned about making the Fps for Feb. since 30 days is Jan. 5th. Want to make sure there will be no problems.
