Questions....HRH???

I just confirmed our room for HRH in October.....2 queen deluxe at Entertainment Rate of $159. Buying the 5-day Universal Bonus Passes on line for park admission.

Few questions:

1. The representative said he could NOT guarantee me a king bed with sofa bed, so I had to reserve the 2 queens, should I wait till check in or to make this request or call hotel NOW?
Also, I requested poolview, and again no guarantee, same questions as above, should call now or wait till check in?

2. Any room layouts, descriptions on the deluxe rooms?

3. Any advice on possible upgrade to Club Level with Loews First card, etc?

4. Three (3) Adult 5-Day Bonus Passes online were $289 including tax, shipping, etc. Am I wrong, but isn't this a good deal? Representative said no problem buying them separate from the hotel reseravations, any advice?

We are excited, can't wait for October now!! Thanks for any advice.

We did the same thing - a deluxe room at HRH, in just 2 weeks! I aslo bought my 5-day tickets on-line, even though we're only going to be at US for 4 days - I think it's a great deal! The only better deal I saw was for annual passes - I actually bought a power pass for my sister, who lives in FL. But, I'm not sure our family will be back within a year, so I saved the $10 per person and went with the 5-day passes.

Regarding the rooms - there's some info. in the "RPR or HRH?" thread posted by whoisfigment. Keep in mind, if you upgrade to a Club room, it's been posted on these boards that the Club room is smaller (375 sq. ft. vs. 500 sq. ft. for a deluxe). Our family needs the extra room - since we'll have a car, I can buy snacks/soda/water off-site, and the free drinks/food seems to be the biggest (only?) benefit of the Club room.

As far as the king bed vs. 2 queen, you could probably call the hotel now - I don't think it would hurt, at any rate, to put in your request.

think i will go ahead and put in request, couldn't hurt. also good idea about drinks snacks etc......read on here where you can shift some of the stuff around/out of mini bar frig, and use it for your stuff!!
