I don't know how to really title this, and I have know idea what to search for, so please forgive me if this has been covered.

In April, I booked a SSR studio for October 19-29, 2007. Well, it is no longer a good time for us to go, and DH and I agreed to send one of his excellent employees to go (no charge and including park hoppers and transportation to WDW), shortening the vacation to October 21-26.

How do I go about adjusting the reservation? What do I say?

When we bought into SSR at WDW in December, our guide said that there was some tax ride-off if we were to give employees a vacation; does anyone here know anything about this? Do I contact him regarding this?

Thanks for any help, answers, or advice you have to offer.

Lucky employee......call member services and give them the names of everyone in their party. They will also need his address. A new confirmation will be mailed to you, not him, with the changes reflected on it. As far as the tax write of.......you may want to seek some one else on that.

Be careful about changing that reservation!!!

It may well be possible to shorten the reservation by 2 days on the front end and 3 days on the back end...but I've read about such a change requiring canceling the first reservation and rebooking...and w/wait lists in place for October, it could be a problem...so be sure to ask the CM at MS to check availability before starting to make the change! You may be just fine at SSR...(it would almost certainly be a problem at the Epcot resorts because of Food & Wine)...

Good luck and pixie dust to you & your well-rewarded employee!!

all you do is change the names and add his, address phone #'s and names in party just drop off the nights can I work for your husband I will be a good employee

Thank you all for responses. The employee is single, and he doesn't know if his first choice person can make the trip yet.

I didn't realize that you needed their addresses. . .
