well...I recently changed my reservation to the CBR form the YC...and have a few quick questions...

Was the resort crowded?
Was the bus service decent and quick?
Was the new food court easy to use and quick?
Was the pool crowded?

I'm a little nervous the resort will be crowded (can you tell)...even though I'm going at "value" season I'm still a litte skeptical...

if anyone has any info there..I'd greatly appriciate it!:o

Great questions and would love to hear some answers!! We are checking in on the 19th and staying for 11 magical nights!! Hope you have a magical trip, too, boston-yachter!! I'll be the lady at the pool watching my 2 DS splashing away and sipping on a Pina Colada!!;)

I can't tell you about the crowds recently but I have been there when the resort was at 100%. You can't tell that the resort is full. The food court since it was remodeled is much faster than it used to be. They have many checkouts open so you don't wait long to check out. We were there in Feb. with all the cheerleaders and didn't wait more than a few mins. to get our food.

The main pool doesn't seem to get crowded but sometimes you have a hard time finding a pool chair in late afternoon. There are plenty of quiet pools and in the evening the pools aren't crowded.

I can speak for the bus service because we drive to the parks.

Small World!
I envy your 11 night stay! I'm sure your sons will love the resort! Its been a favorite for myself and daughter many years!
We went down to the CBR this same time last year...and it was picture perfect....both weather and crowds...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this year!
Oh and I'll be the one next to you sipping my miami vice watching my soon to be 16yo and friend teach the little ones how to get down the slide faster! Hope you have a fantastic time!
P.S. My daughter grew up in Plainsboro, NJ right outside of Trenton!...

Safetymom...you are the "all-knower" when it comes to CBR...thankyou very much! I actually may have another question for you...
I noticed in pics of the new food court...that they added a new "quick and go" type thing...is this kinda like the area at POR minus the main food counters? Did I make any sense?

thankyou again!

I understand what you are asking about at POR. I like it better at CBR because it is at the end of the food counters. It isn't as congested in the grab and go area at CBR. It seemed a little roomier in that area as compared to POR.

and the crowds in the parks by 11 am were pretty bad. But CBR never seemed crowded at all. The only time it seemed crowded was during meals in old port royale and 4 o'clock in the afternoon at the pool when everyone was taking a break from the heat of the day. other than that it almost felt like the resort was all ours. Even in the evenings when the sun was setting over the lake the beach out in front of the martinque buildings rarely had anyone there I enjoyed several evenings laying in a hammock on the beach watching the fireworks from epcot unfortunatley the only way I was able to enjoy it with my husband was over the cell phone. He wasnt able to come with us and i sure missed him not being there on those romantic evenings. Have a magical trip. Mimimom
