With all of the extra bag (and first bag) fees that the airlines is charging, I'm thinking about storing more clothes and less luxary items in my Owner's Locker.

How do you store clothes in your Owner's Lockers? Do you just put them in there? Or do you put them in space bags or zip lock bags.

When you open them in your lockers months laters, are the clothes fresh enough to wear? Or do you have to wash them before wearing?

Any tips on storing clothes in my owners locker?

We have clothes stored in our locker. We place them in plastic bags on top of the other items stored. We have not found the need to wash them before wearing. We have mostly shorts, underwear and a few shirts stored so we can really travel lightly.

You might want to have a look at the OL forums. Lots of people tell us they're storing clothes. So much so that we sort of put a clothes Locker on hold for the time being since our Members had figured out how to use our existing Lockers. I think the short answer is plastic bags--whether they are space bags or not. We have not had any complaints about clothes and I think as long as they are clean and dry when you close up your Locker, you should be fine.

I just put them in last so they don't get TOO wrinkled by everything else! Never had an issue!

Thanks for the tips. I was thinking about just getting some of the extra large ziploc bags to put them in. I thought about the space bags, but I find my clothes get too wrinkled in them.

I don't have an owners locker (yet) but when I store my clothes seasonally in totes, I throw a couple fabric softener sheets in with them and they smell great when I take them out. As for wrinkles there is a great product, downey wrinkle release put your clothes on a hanger spray with this lightly and smooth the article of clothing and it really takes the wrinkles out.

I was thinking about putting a fabric softner sheet in with my clothes. I just saw a commercial for that downy wrinkle release the other day. Good to know that it works :) Thanks for the tips, Tozzie.
