Hi. I am getting ready to begin this course to be my friend's Disney expert for her travel agency. I am wondering if this will be very hard and worth all the effort. I am planning to do this part time and any commission will go into my ING Disneyworld account. What do you thinK? I think I'll enjoy it, but is the potential for profit great???
Thanks,

Like a lot of things, the more you put into it the more you can get out. The course itself is interesting and worth the effort, if for nothing else than the great mouse ears you get when you complete it! Plus, IMHO, it makes you seem a little more legitimate as a Disney "specialist".

As far as how much profit can be made - it really depends. If you are able to get the business through your friend's agency, and word of mouth gets around that you are the person to go to for Disney trips, it can be nice extra profit. If you have to try to find all of the business yourself it can be a bit of a struggle. Also keep in mind that commissions are not paid until after travel is completed, so it could be a while until it starts to pay off.

I didn't find the course that hard. If you have been a few times to WDW that helps when taking the course.

I agree about the hat you get when you are done. I have it on display in my office.

After I took the course I decided not to work in a TA. I could make more money elsewhere. I would find out if you are going to get paid a commission or straight hourly rate.
