Questions and Review

Hi! We are heading to WDW in February. I had some questions that hopefully someone can answer. Below is our itinary and my questions:

Arrival day: Hoop Dee Doo

Sunday: Coral Reef: I thought I read somewhere that they no longer have the crab legs...is that true? Say it ain't so

Monday: Sci Fi: If we have dinner adr's can we still get a burger?

Tuesday: Chef Mickey's AM-I am hoping it won't be too crowded. O'hana's: my DD11 is very picky...I am hoping she will be able to eat the steak or shrimp. Is the shrimp spicy?

Wednesday: Boma-nervous about this one too! BUT-it get's good reviews and we wanted to check out Animal Kingdom lodge..

Thursday: Teppan Edu: Any feed back?

Friday: Whispering Canyon-Is there still fun pranks...hope so!

Saturday: we have to go home We will probably eat somewhere at MK at a counter service-any suggestions. We have done Cosmic Rays in the past, would like to try someplace new.

Monday: Sci Fi: If we have dinner adr's can we still get a burger? Yes you can, I've read many stories of posters being able to do exactly that.

Tuesday: Chef Mickey's AM-I am hoping it won't be too crowded. O'hana's: my DD11 is very picky...I am hoping she will be able to eat the steak or shrimp. Is the shrimp spicy? Never been there, so I can't help. Talk to your server and maybe they could tone it down for her.

Thursday: Teppan Edu: Any feed back? Nope - never been there

Friday: Whispering Canyon-Is there still fun pranks...hope so! TOTALLY depends on your server. We went in October 2007 and it was horrible. There are always widely mixed reviews on this one. Let your hostess know you're into pranks when you check in, hopefully she can make sure to hook you up with a good server.

Saturday: we have to go home We will probably eat somewhere at MK at a counter service-any suggestions. We have done Cosmic Rays in the past, would like to try someplace new. Columbia Harbor House is good, also fun is Casey's and sitting outside with a castle view.

Monday: Sci Fi: If we have dinner adr's can we still get a burger?Yes you can still get a burger, it maybe off menu, but I've had them fire me up one before. As a matter of fact, I went into the ABC Commissary (shared kitchen with Sci Fi) one morning and didn't see anything I wanted and the manager asked me what I would like. I told him a piece of chocolate cake and a glass of milk would be nice, and I' be dammed if he didn't come back from the kitchen with a piece of chocolate cake and milk. But I digress.

Wednesday: Boma-nervous about this one too! BUT-it get's good reviews and we wanted to check out Animal Kingdom lodge. Don't know about this one.

Thursday: Teppan Edu: Any feed back? Love it. Not the best Habachi in the world, but good and they have great service.

Friday: Whispering Canyon-Is there still fun pranks...hope so! Love it. Yes they are still loud. Be sure and ask for ketchup or sweet tea.

Saturday: we have to go home We will probably eat somewhere at MK at a counter service-any suggestions. We have done Cosmic Rays in the past, would like to try someplace new. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. The food is about the same; but the theming is different. Pinocchio Village Haus isn't bad

We love Boma breakfast but did not like Boma dinner at all....everything was spiced with cinnamon and vanilla and some type of hot curry! I like my foods to not taste like sweet desserts!

The shrimp at Ohana have a nice kick, def have a bit of spice on them

Teppen Edo is great, you will love it. Had a very bad experience two years in a row at whispering canyon cafe, I will not go back. I have never been to Ohana's, but one day maybe. Enjoy your trip.
