DH does like some "war" games, specifically something called Combat Arms which is an internet game, so he probably would like XBox for all the reasons you mentioned (although I might have to draw the line at taking a vacation cruise with his buddies named "Swampmonkey" and "Tuna3"!).

plus, I just saw an earlier thread about comparing XBox to Playstation.

I have a lot to think about!

My husband plays with a dentist in North Carolina, another guy who runs his own business from the same general area, someone who lives in Texas that works for Dell Computers (he goes to China a lot on business), and a lot of other really good people. I'm sure your husband will find a great bunch of guys to play with.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 recently released, Left for Dead 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (though a bit older), Gears of War 2, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 are some of the titles he and his friends still play. There are a lot of good titles that are worth playing for someone who hasn't had the opportunity to do so yet though. He may not find a lot of people on Live playing them, but I'm sure he'd still find someone to play with.
