Questions About Travel Documents...

Thank you so much for all of your help!! Now to answer some of your questions....

I did not use a travel agency. I booked directly through Disney. I paid off our trip exactly one month before the 45 day cut off mark. I took your advice and called Disney to see when I should expect my information. Unfortunately, their computers are down and won't allow them to pull up any reservations at this time. I will give them a call back tomorrow.

Our trip is August 21st, we got our Magical Express packet last week and our packet from Disney yesterday. Don't worry it you should get them in a few days.

I went through a Travel Agent last year. My documents never arrived – at the agency, so I never got them. Magical Express did FedEx my packet (although I know I could still use DME without it, and I know the routine – thanks, Transportation Board ) a few days before I left. My TA was told my reservation packet would be waiting for me at the hotel when I checked in. Nope. Not Friday night, not Saturday morning, not Saturday night, not Sunday, not Monday, not after I got home… at any rate, they DID have my reservation in the system, so I had a room, tickets, and the Dining Plan – as reserved.

I received my mouse papers on 7/13/07 for my trip 8/9/07.

And when I asked my AAA travel agent earlier this week when I made final payment, she told me I would receive them two weeks prior to me trip. Guess like all WDW information, it depends on who you ask

Yesterday was our 5 week mark and when I got home, I had my ME packet. However, I quickly went from to . As I looked over my information, I realized my mother's luggage tags were not in the packet. Her name was nowhere to be found. Then, I looked closer......

In the flight info area, they have me flying with my sister. This was not right. I am flying by myself from Chicago. My mother and sister are flying together from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA. I called last night but was on hold forever. I called, again, this morning, and I hope they have it straightened out. What they did was have me flying from PA and Chicago. Apparently my mother will be staying with us, but I guess she is flying under her own power.

I was told they will be reprinting tags for me and for my mother. I just hope it's corrected now. They still can't seem to get my e-mail right. I have corrected it on the phone every single time I have talked to them. They have an e-mail address that I used 7 years ago - before I even considered going to Disney.

I have been checking the mailbox for mine too. Our 5 week mark is Monday 7/23. I read too that people around our dates have gotten their stuff and wait with excitement till the mailman comes but so far no papers. Hopefully soon!!!

Update on earlier post! My ME packet came today and everthing was correct. My sister got her pack too. It has nothing to do with when you paid in full. I paid in full back in June. My sister paid 2 days before the 45 day mark and we both recieved our packets on the same day!!
