Questions About the Special Effects Tour

I've just been invited to a trip to Orlando to compete in a nationwide student film festival. I go to Orlando every other year, but the one thing I always wanted to do was the special effects tour in Universal Studios (my favorite place in the world). Luckily, it is included in our passes for the first day down at Orlando. What is it and how good is it? How long does the tour itself take and on a Monday in March, how long does the park typically stay open?

I know! I can't find anything on it, yet my school and the film festival claim that its there! I've been looking everrywhere and have not heard of it, except for the one in Hollywood. The only other way is if we get to go behind-the-scenes on the rides and see how they were made.
