When you go to the MK you bring the Tomorrowland Quest and then you get the other Quests. then you bring those completed quests and get a time for the tour.

Do you have to take the tour to get all the codes? What extra stuff do you get for taking the tour?

Thanks I am trying to figure it all out.

I can't speak for WDW, but the way it worked at DL, each quest has multiple levels. You get codes for each level in which you answer the questions correctly. They gave us the codes when we turned in the quests. Then during the tour, we got more codes by answering trivia questions. I didn't keep all the card separate, so I can't remember what came with the tour and what came with the quests. I know I got an Explorer's Tent room by answering trivia on the Jungle Cruise. And I do know we got a package of gold stuff (penny press, turnstile, scoreboard and some others) just for taking the tour. But this one they gave out to everyone at the end of the tour. Also, you don't get to do the Haunted Mansion quest unless you do the tour.

Hey Lisa! I'm sorry I can't help, but I'm interested in learning more about the quests and tour also! From what I understand, you print the Tomorrowland Quest and bring it with you, but the other quests you can pick up anytime at VMK Central on Main Street. When you've completed all the quests, you bring them back to VMK Central and then can schedule your tour at that time (only times are 1:00 and 4:00 so I am having a tough time trying to figure out how to work this into our busy schedule).

What I'd like to know is, how long does the VMK tour last? So I can make sure my dinner plans don't interfere... and also, can you make a reservation for the tour on the same day? And one last question, how many people in my party can go on a tour? For instance, there will be 3 of us plus my sister. Do we EACH have to do all the quests, or can just 1 of us do the quests, but make a tour reservation for a group of 4?

Also, is the VMK tour worth it if we are on a very tight schedule?

Thanks!

What I do know about it is it's a 3 hour tour and you get back door access to Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion and one other I forget what that one is. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about it. If you are on a tight schedule it might not be worth it. You have to consider you are riding 3 rides so that helps but I would hate to have you miss something.

On the other hand if you are an avid VMK player (like I am becomming) there are things that you can only get on the tour that you can't get anywhere else. They are pretty valuable for trading.

Also if you do the Midden Mickey Quest you get a link to print out a certificate to book your tour without having to finish the quests. That will be handy if you do have a very limited schedule since you will be able to schedule the tour as soon as you get to the MK. I am hearing that it is retty popular and taking a few days to schedule.

Scheduling the tour might mess me up because of my ADR and certian parks on caritan days. If I can onyl get the tour on a MGM day that is going to cause some problems for example. I won't know that until I actually walk in the park and hand in the quests.

I am looking forward to the tour personally and being the uber planner that I am I want to know what I am doing what I am getting what codes, what stuff in advance. It makes me feel a little better about not having anything "cool" right now.
