I booked though AAA and I don't remember where I had a choice of beds in the booking. Just booked 2 adults/2kids

When I get to the Hotel, Do I let them know I would like 2 queen beds?

If I want to try and get a view of the park because my kids are afraid of the loud noises of the fireworks but like the lights, do I ask when I get to the room?

I tried asking AAA but they were useless.

Thanks,

depending on what time of year you go, you may be able to get a view room without having to pay a higher amount but dont count on it...its usually about $115 increase per 4 days stay...you can call the hotel direct and ask them though and at the same time advise you need 2 queen beds but more than likely they probably already know that due to having 2 A and 2 C...here's the number 714-778-6600...good luck on the view room!! :goodvibes

Don't feel bad, I called AAA vacations today to ask a question on our reservaton and it took longer to dial the number than the amount of time the agent spent with me on the phone.... :snooty:
Give the hotel a call. They are really great with listing your preferences within your reservation. :thumbsup2
We booked 2 beds last year and were given 2 queens and a futon couch. I am keeping my finger crossed that we are given the same again this trip... They had it noted in our profile, but you never know for sure until you actually get there..

Have a wonderful trip! :wizard:

We had a regular room reserved and I called an requested a large room with two queens and a day bed, not only did we get it, but were upgraded to a pool view free. If you want to request a room, do so before you check in they assign rooms before everyone checks in.

Hi going to be there in 20 days at the disneyland hotel...never been there...i am a WDW vet.....when calling to request...do you call the hotel or the disney reservation number I called when I booked..when we go to WDW I always fax 5 days before..not sure what you do in disneyland.....we booked a downtown disney veiw....I just want to call and make sure that is what we are down for and we need 2 queen beds...thanks for any help....amy

It would be best to call the hotel directly... Here is the number for the Hotel operator (714) 778-6600 :wizard:

I just called the hotel. Talked to them about my preferences. They have them noted in our reservation. I asked what I could do to assist in us receiving the preferences and Paul said to make sure to check in as close to 3:00 as possible. No problem for us as we will be in the local area the night before. YAHOO!! I am so excited. I can't wait to see the look on the faces of my 2 little ones. This is their first time at DL and our first family vacation.

Thanks again..I love this board.
