questions about starting a new job..

This will be my first real job and i dont want to seem dumb or anything.. I have an orentation before I start would it be stupid if I call to double check the time and date..i just want to be sure... i have axiety really bad so this is part of it i lay in bed is it monday or tuesday. i know it is tuesday but im i really sure...

I agree! Call and confirm. That would be better than to show up a the wrong time or on the wrong day.

Just call and say that you want to confirm the time and date of your orientation. Don't give them any more details about how nervous you are, etc. If it were me I'd want to give them every last detail! Good luck!

I would think you were being concientious and responsible for confirming (unless you called 10 times!) I have found when it is important and I am worried I will mess it up to do 2 things repeat it back to them after they have said it and it helps to have someone else standing there to confirm it for me later after I hang up you know say to the person I did say 2:30 Wed right? And most important right it down as I am hearing it. Alot of people get anxious over things like this I'll check the date 15 times if one of my kids has a try out or picture coming up!
