Questions about room request when renting points.

Do any of you have knowledge of the "best" way or "better chance" of getting your room requests met when renting points? We are considering a trip to a DVC resort and renting points thru a reputable online service. Just want to know if it is better to have the owner make these requests for you, or just use the request form when you do the online check-in. Does it even matter? Thanks!

Have the owner do it. The choices for online check in really don't track well with DVC villas.

Be sure to completely skip the request section of the online process if you have the owner do it. If you don't, you'll end up erasing whatever the owner requested for you.
