Questions about PS before Early entry

OK. I have read a few threads concerning getting PS for in-park character meals to time to that you finish when the early entry starts. Is that right?

Can you still ride the WDW transportation to do this?

I am trying to get the logistics of this: if the park in question opens at 9am, so early entry is 8am when do you get the PS? If you get it at say 7:20am, you need to leave the resort at 7am, right? Will the buses be running that early?

Thanks for any and all help. We will be there the first week of January when the parks will open rather late and close early. Because of this, I want to take advantage of the early entry and do the character meals earlier as well. I'm trying to figure when to get the PSs and how to get to the park.

I am not sure there are any PS times for in park character meals that begin before 8am. WHen we were looking for a PS to Crystal Palace, we were told they began serving at 8. I think the resort character meals (i.e. Ohana's, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickeys) may start earlier.

Disney transportation starts running early. I think it's two hours before opening.

There's two trains of thought with EE:

1. Eat a late breakfast around 10am and do a couple of hours of attractions before the meal.

2. Eat as early as possible on a day the park doesn't have EE so as to finish eating about the time the park opens.

And, yes, many resort restaurants start serving breakfast at 7:30am. Food courts are open even earlier.

I think she was asking about PS at the EE park before EE starts. I don't think they are doing that anymore. EE will start at 8am and I think the earliest PS you can get is like 8:05am. They used to do it pre- 9/11 at like 7:30am, etc.

I don't know for sure, but it may be possible you can get an 8am seating on a non-EE day so you are ready to go at park opening.
