Do you have to arrive early to benefit from priority seating, or is a shorter wait time part of the benefit? How early should you arrive for perferred seating? Thanks so much!

There is a preferred seating for parades and Aladdin? Details please! We saw Aladdin two years ago and loved it. Where do you get seated with PS? We were on the Mezannine (sp?) last time and it was great.

You get preferred seating for Aladdin if you book your vacation package through Disney Travel. You also get perks like Toontown Morning Madness if you're there multiple days. Sometimes it costs a little more than booking through someone else, but to me the perks are worth it. If you book the Disney Visa Dreams package you get all of the above plush preferred seating for one parade.

priority seating is differnt as far as i can tell from prefferd seating. priority seating is for dinning, kinda like a reservation.

when i was there last(2 years ago) preferred seating was a seperate line and as such if you where at the back of the line you got still got preffered seats but not the choice pick.

what we did was find a show around lunch time and the whole family waited in the line about an hour or so before show time. then a runner or two went and got lunch. nice thing about this is 1) you have to eat and 2) you want to see the show but not wait in line aimless. so why not do both.

There is a separate area for the Preffered Seating area for Aladdin. The seats are in the center down on the bottom floor, they are really good seats but you can miss some things so we prefer the Mezzanine. We got there about 30 min. early for the show and there were about 10 people ahead of us. As we waited more people did come in and they let their kids push ahead of us so they could get better seats. We really didn't care, we just wanted to sit in the a/c in the middle of July. LOL

when we went we sat up higher like in the mezz maybe the balcony. i loved the fact that with the kids we looked own on the stage and saw everything. where as at or below stage level you are looking up or at the characters feet and miss stuff going on behind them.

We saw the 1:50 Aladdin show yesterday ~ we lined up at maybe 1:20 without PS ~ there was a ton of people, I was a little worried but it's a huge theater. We chose to be on the mezzanine ~ great view, awesome show!

can you STAND in the PS line
but then CHOOSE to SIT in the Mezz section? (so we don't have to wait in line as long)

i wonder...???

We had preferred seating and it was great! We sat towards the back of the first floor section and I don't think we missed anything! We were on the aisle too, which was great when the big elephant and the rest of the parade came right next to us! It was a little hard to see Jasmine and Aladdin when they were flying on the magic carpet, but it dipped a few times to let us see them, and it was cool since they were right over our heads. :)

There was a thread about this a couple weeks ago, and somebody said that you can go sit wherever you want. That would be good. We thought we had to sit in the orchestra section (floor) and while it was good, the first row of the mezz (first balcony) would have been even better, I think.

You can't see them when they are on the carpet as well, you can see them though. The parade will go behind you as well, just turn in your seat to see it. You won't really *miss* anything, I guess I worded that wrong, sorry, you just see better from the Mezz above. I'm glad we used our PS tix but we don't feel like we had a better view from them.

Smaller children will have a better view from the 3rd or 4th row in a balcony than in most of the orchestra or the first 2 rows of the balcony.
