Questions about Premier Annual Pass

Me and my boyfriend are debating between the premier annual pass and the preferred annual pass.

The obvious difference is the 20% discount instead of 10%

However I do have a couple of questions...

The preferred pass provides Express Pass access after 4pm - is this worth it? Trying to do decide whether having this access after 4pm will make much difference?

Also does the annual pass serve as the express pass? Or do we order our express passes online but put in some kind of a code to get them for free?

My second question is regards to the 'free 'NON-PEAK NIGHT' Halloween horror nights ticket....can we purchase this advance using some kind of annual pass discount code? Or can we only purchase on the day using our annual pass? I would much rather be able to purchase in advance...

The preferred pass provides Express Pass access after 4pm - is this worth it? Trying to do decide whether having this access after 4pm will make much difference? It's worth it if you go during a busy travel period. Otherwise...not so much. It also depends on when the parks close. Busier season means longer hours.

Also does the annual pass serve as the express pass? Or do we order our express passes online but put in some kind of a code to get them for free? Yes...your AP will serve as your EP. They will scan it when you enter the Express queue.

Or can we only purchase on the day using our annual pass? I would much rather be able to purchase in advance... You will need to exchange the voucher for the actual ticket but it doesn't have to be done the night you're planning on going. But you will need to do that in person.

it is the premier, not the preferred annual pass, that allows the one time use per ride for after 4:00 for the express lines.

We have the Premier Annual pass and we think the after 4 express pass is a pretty big plus, mostly during the really busy season when the parks are open later at night we get alot of use out of it. It might seem like a small thing but you also get 8 free bottles of water with the Premier Pass, we have 3 passes (myself, my 18yr old Stepson and my Wife) so the coupons for the free water last us a long time as we get 24 free bottles in total.
