Questions about Pre-Sale Hannah tix

I bought presale tix for the concert in Austin. The Erwin Center box office refuses to mail them to me. They say they have to be picked up at the box office. Um, I don't live in Austin and I"m not going to the concert! I'm giving them to my niece for Christmas. I'm so annoyed.

Is this standard protocol for presale tix? What a huge pain. Looks like I might have to drive 2.5 hours to go get them tomorrow. Good thing I don't live even farther away.

When I bought pre-sale tix(in Aug) I got the kind I printed off the printer. I think it was like $2.50 or something like that. I am not sure what happened with yours. Have you contacted Ticketmaster?

Were these for one of the dates recently released? I got tix in the post sale for Baltimore earlier this month and they are will call- DAY OF CONCERT ONLY. I didn't see Austin on Ticketmaster so I don't know if it falls under those rules, but call and double check before you make that drive. I know it's frustrating, but this was due to the scandal surrounding how hard it is to get these tix at face value!

They are the post sale. Austin tix were not sold through ticketmaster so they were not on the list. The box office says I can pick them up any time. I just wish they had told us all this before I bought tickets. I could have used my sisters credit card, etc. and saved myself 5 hours of driving. What a huge pain.

At least the guy on the phone didn't say it was day of concert only. That would be impossible for us since I'm going to be at WDW the day of the concert!!!!

The guys at the box office did say this was a fan club rule, not a box office rule. He said they normally have no problem leaving the tickets for someone else to pick up but that the fan club is saying no way. I guess they are trying to make it harder for scalpers? I don't know. Makes it much harder for this Aunt to give tickets to her niece!!!
