questions about postcards/codes and should we switch from por to wl?

hi everyone. i'm about to lose my mind planning my trip to wdw june 11-16 (i could be losing my mind b/c i work an accounting office though) can someone tell me if there are any other codes that you have been able to use that are not mousesavers? also, i had posted a question about a postcard my brother got in the mail for a deluxe room for 124/night. it has a code at the bottom. could i use this postcard? my brother and i have the same last name and the same address. my last question is-- should i change my reservations from por to wl if i can get this rate. my old college roommate is meeting me in wdw to celebrate our 25th birthdays. right now we are staying at por. we are paying the 94/night rate using the code. i have stayed there before and really like the resort and it is close to downtown disney. i think the 124/night at wl is great except that it is a bit further from dd, but i have a friend that works at wl and it would be nice to see him. now, we might be getting por for even cheaper. is it worth it to switch? sorry this is so long! any ideas? thanks.

The reservation has to be in the person's name that appears on the postcard. That person has to check in.

Have you tried booking on Disney website? They have a summer basic plan or something like that. It's probably the same rate (or pretty close) as your postcard. $94 is a good rate for POR.

Call and ask. For some reason the postcards come in my son-in-laws name, although we generally go with my daughter. and grands, and leave him home ot work. We were told as long as the address matches her license, we were welcome to use it..and we have. The payment usually goes on my card, with his postcard.

I don't think the ressie has to be in that persons name specifically. My 4 year old DD received a postcard in Feb. I questioned why it came to her when she's a minor and the CM told me they don't look at the ages of the people they're sending them to (they probably got her name from one of our DCL), they just have to live in the same household.

I have a question - My DM just received this post card too. We have a trip planned for May (me, mom & my son). The orginal reservation is in my name and deposit paid with my credit card. My DM lives with us, do you think I could have this rate applied to our current reservation in my name?
