Questions about POP Century

1) I land at 7:30am on Friday! What are the chances my room will be ready? Last trip I stayed at A.S. Sp, I landed at 9:30, and my room was already ready which was nice.

2) laundry. How much does it cost?

3) do the pools/waterparks have towels? All star sports did. Since Pop is more expensive, I'm hoping they will too. It would be a pain to carry a towel from the hotel if I have to bring it back/carry it through the parks all day!

1. If you don't make any room requests and let them know your approximate arrival time during Online Check In, your odds are pretty good.

2. $3 per wash and $3 per dryer cycle.

3. No. Sports is the only Value that has towels at the pool.

Thank you!!

How do I do online check in? Do the water parks have towels? I just don't want to have to carry around a wet towel the rest of the day just to bring it back to my room.

You can ask the front desk at Pop for towels - they have no problem giving them out.

When you log into your MDE account at 60 days out or kess, you will see a message that Online Check In is now open.

There are towels available for rent at the Water Parks. We always bring some from our room or the pool and drop them in the bins at the Water Park. All towels are the same and get laundered in the same place so it's not a problem.

Just FYI for what its worth, we checked in 6/6, we did online check in with what time we would arrive(put 9:30 though it was closer to 10), and this was only request, and our room was not ready until about 3 that day. Though the check in desk DID do its best to try and find us something ready.

You can always ask front desk for a couple of towels, or if you see a maid cart just grab a few or ask for them. Nice to know they're the same as the water park towels so you can leave them there; I never knew that (only went to the water parks when we were staying off site so brought our pool towels from the resort and brought them back to the resort then).

It's hit or miss if a room is ready early. If it isn't ready, we just drop our carry on bags or whatnot with the bell services and off we go.

Laundry room take credit cards (no Amex), which is so much more convenient than bringing quarters! I always bring my own detergent and dryer sheets. Beware: the dryers at Pop last time I stayed run very hot, so it only took a short time to dry our clothes (I hover and pull many things out after just a few minutes to hang dry). I bring a bunch of those metal hangers from the dry cleaners with me, since I hang a lot & hang a lot to dry too.
