Does anyone know what sitting times they do now for the character tea party?

And whether this needs to be booked up for september, or if the crowds shouldn't be that bad allowing me to just book it up on our first day there?

thanks

Hi,

I would book in advance.
The tea party is at 3.30pm and then at 5pm (or it was this month).
I didn't book in advance for our trip at the start of this month, and couldn't get any suitable bookings for the tea party when I asked at City Hall my first morning there.

hi,

we had character birthday at this restaurant about 3 weeks ago (it was for me). we went for the 5.30 sitting. u had your birthday cake brought out all at the same time as everyone else together with the birthday song. personally i wouldnt recommend this if you want to have a more personalised birthday party and more character interaction. when we were there , there were tables that been left out because most kids just ran towards the character (not waiting at their own table). thinking about it again perhaps i should have booked cafe mickey and celebrate my birthday there. however thats my personal opinion.

The CMs should have sorted that out, and had all the children go back to their tables to wait for the characters. I've often seen the characters themselves do this at the meals (Plaza Gardens, Cafe Mickey, Lucky Nugget). They "shoo" them away back to their seats.

This sort of thing can happen at any of the restaurants, although it shouldn't. Usually if you point it out to one of the CM's they will take note and do something about it.

Looks like I'll book it up in advance then, as it's a tea party I take it that it's the same food at both 3.30 and 5.00 with pastries and cakes.

Don't you miss the parade on the 3,30 one though?

Also are there any days they don't do the tea party, im really excited already and just want to get it right :o)

Hi,

Yes, you do miss the parade at the 3.30 tea party, as its on for an hour.

The later one is the best bet - you get a sit-down after the Parade :lmao: !

Do under 3's eat free, cus even though DD will be 2 i was thinking of having the birthday tea arranged for her but will i have to state her age because even though she will only be 2 we will be celebrating her 3rd birthday a few weeks earlier.

Confused, lol so am i? Hope that kind of made sense.

Does anyone remember or know what time the tea part finishes and the buffet dinner begin?
