I have two 5-day adult Park Hopper tickets from 2000, and four 5-day Park Hopper tickets from 2001 (2 adult, 2 children). I know that I can use these tickets forever, but I'm not sure if any days have been used from these tickets in the past.
In my research I read that I can email WDW and they can tell me what is left on my tickets, but I need to include the following information:
I have no idea where and when the ticket was purchased, who bought the ticket, and the form of payment. I may have bought them, or it may have been my mom. We probably bought them down at the parks, but it could have been at a Disney Store. I simply do not remember anymore.
Here's the thing- I'm afraid to even ask because I'm worried that as soon as I ask, MY name and information will somehow be attached to these tickets. And what if I decide not to use these tickets at this time? We're not looking to travel for another year. What if an awesome package becomes available that includes park tickets, and we want to save these old tickets for another time? Or another person- like my sister or her kids? Or my husband?
SO I guess my questions are-
1. Will the folks at WDW be able to help me even if I can't answer all of the questions above?
2. If I can't answer all of the questions, should I just make something up? Give my best guess?
3. Is there any way that sending a formal inquiry to the folks at WDW could bite me in the butt and/or hurt me in the long term?
Thank you!

- Photograph or scan of the front and back of each ticket
- Your full name
- Where and when ticket was purchased
- Purchaser’s name and form of payment
- Phone number where you can be reached during the day
