Questions about OKW

We are looking forward to staying at OKW for the first time this May. We've stayed at VWL, BCV, and our home BWV many times. I have a few questions about OKW I'm hoping you can answer?

I know Olivia's is the sit-down restaurant. Is there a "fast food" type place at OKW, similar to Roaring Forks at VWL? If so, is there some way to find out what's available there?

I have the map of OKW, and it looks like all of the buildings have parking right outside, as opposed to a central parking lot -- is that correct?

How many floors high are the buildings?

Finally, how long does it take for the busses to make the "loop" to all 4 stops, and which are first/last on the loop?

Not a food court but there is Goods to Go.

Yes, you park right by the unit, not a central lot.

The buildings are 2 or 3 floors, 3 have elevators (#'s in the 60s)

The loop is about 10-15 minutes, depends on how many get off/on and if you have a wheel chair to load/unload.

You will enjoy the relaxed pace and larger units at our first home resort.

Finally, how long does it take for the busses to make the "loop" to all 4 stops, and which are first/last on the loop?

The 'order' does change at times, but the most common seems to be:

1. Peninsular Road
2. South Point
3. Turtle Pond
4. Millers
5. Hospitality House

You'll notice that following this route, the busses make all left hand turns. (Except for the final driveway into HH). My guess is this route was developed for that specific reason. Busses have a lot more room when turning left than they do when turning right.

I hope you're prepared to fall in love with Old Key West. One of the things that will really spoil you is being able to park right outside your door. And as for Olivia's, yes it's a sit down restaurant but it's more like being in your dining room at home. We rarely eat lunch any place else. And, if you're in a one bedroom, I highly recommend some candles and champagne for the jacuzzi.

Thanks for all the great info! Looks like Goods will be perfect for us for a quick breakfast or snack. We are really looking forward to trying out OKW -- we took the plunge when we thought you could park right outside the unit and don't have to have one of those awful fold-out beds as the second in the Studio! Thanks again!
