We had to reschedule our trip to US/IOA to the first weekend in October. When are the HHN's dates going to be released? Also, is it too intense for pre-teen girls? Last, will Bubba Gump Seafood be open by then? Thanks a bunch!

Official HHN information like dates, times, prices, and such usually appear around August.

Bubba Gump's is slated to open in July.

HHN is unofficially rated PG-13, it depends on the kid. ours can handle Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens ok, but HHN freaks her and her friends out pretty badly at times.

Pre-teen and teenage girls tend to have the loudest, blood curling screams at Howl-O-Scream and HHN.

It wouldn't be a Halloween event without screaming teenage girls!

Be aware that it can be intense. Make sure you kid knows what will happen. Talk before you go to the event and see if she is up to it...

I love it myself. The best moment I have seen was a girl being hunted down by 5 chainsaw gang members... She ran all the way back to the Hulk coaster and over the bridge... I do think they will not hunt down a pre-teen but she will witness things like this...

Worst thing I have seen was a mother and father draggin their pre-teen around the park while she was screaming and crying "I want to go home"... She was scared and the parents where not going to go out... I felt sorry for the girl...

So I guess it is up to the kid...

Whatever the choice... enjoy your trip
