Questions about Minnie and Friends breakfast in the park

Since our December trip will be very short, and we're already doing the Holiday Tour, I was going to skip characer dining this time around. But of course now I'm thinking about it again. I thought perhaps it would be nice to do the Minnie and Friends breakfast the day we leave, since we've never done it before. Being as we want to be on the road by noon, do you think this is a waste of our short amount of time in the park? (We'll be in the park Friday evening, all day Saturday and then Sunday morning)
Can you request inside seating or do you just get put wherever they have room when you check in? Is the price still $23.99 for adults? $11.99 for kids? I'm assuming the AP discount would apply?
Anything else I should think about?
Thanks for your help!

The price is 27/14, plus there may be an upward seasonal prices adjustment. These adjustments usually start the week before Xmas.

Yes you get an AP discount.

You can ask to sit somewhere, it may require a longer wait.

If you haven't done a character meal I would do it. Also I would make a 7:10 reservation, this would be during MM. It will take about an hour to eat, so you will only miss a minimal amount of the normal park hours.
