*Questions About Mickey's Halloween Party...

I am so excited! My tickets came in the mail today! This is my first time getting to attend in October, so I am thrilled. I do, however, have a few questions, and so appreciate your advice/information!

1. What is the weather generally like the first week of October?
2. We are a couple of Disney LOVERS; however, we are going with a couple that want to see why we think Disney World is so great. We have tickets to the Halloween Party on October 6th - any suggestions to be sure to see/avoid for people we wish to impress?
3. Is there a less crowded photo area? How about time for photos - is it best to do it right away, or do the crowds thin later?
4. If we aren't able to get there until 7:30ish, are we risking missing anything great?

last year it was hot and humid during the first week of Ocotber.

I would say get your photos right away if the lines aren't long, becuase last year we waited and the photo places were closed up by the time we got there (around 11:30pm).

If it is possible for you to get there earlier than 7:30 I would. Since 2001 people have been able to get in as early as 4:00pm with MNSSHP tickets (something most people don't know). Most people will come around 7:00ish so you may be waiting in a longer line (especially with the bag check).
