Questions About Loop 600

Does anyone know how long of a walk it is from loop 600 to the marina. Also, I noticed on the FW map that the closest comfort station is in another loop across from loop 600. Should we ask for another loop to be closer to the restrooms or is it really not too far.

The 600 loop is a fairly small loop, so the walk to either the comfort station in the 500 loop (same side of the road) is actually closer than the CS in some larger loops.

We've stayed right across the road in the 800 loop and I would guess it's between a quarter of a mile and a half mile to the marina....something like that. Not a bad walk. Maybe about 15 minutes.

I would say the walk to marina is less than 10 min. 600 loop is a nice small loop,if you have small kids that go to comfort station by them self I would choose a loop with comfort station in it. 900 is a nice small loop also.

and it was around 8 minutes at most. It was a great loop to stay in.

The walk to the comfort station was about 3 minutes.

We stayed in site 601 once. The sing a long/campfire is right over the bridge behind the site and the comfort station is located right there also. It was a short walk to the marina and we never took the bus. One of my best friends' dd has to have a wheelchair for a majority of the trip so it was just easier to walk.

Yes, it is less than a 10 minute walk to the marina/dock/restaurant. But it sure seems longer WALKING back in a downpour late at night right after the parks close! Stay as close to the dock as possible. Even if you have to wait at the bus stop you'll be under cover protected from the rain.
