Questions about Lockers...

So, we will be at Disneyland on Saturday for the first time and I had a few questions about the lockers. I'd really like to get in the park and start the fastpass collecting nice and early, but I've also read to get a locker quick because they go fast. Exactly how fast are they sold out? Also, I've read that there are also lockers outside the park in the esplanade between DL and CA- do those sell out as quickly as the ones just inside DL?

The weather is supposed to be a bit chilly on Saturday, so if we wear in coats and get too hot, mid-day, I though a locker might be a good investment to stash them until later in the night.

Any other locker tips or experiences are appreciated!

We have never had a problem finding a locker. If you want to start collecting FPs from the start, I am assuming you will be there at park opening? If so, I would recommend getting a locker in the esplanade before the parks open. That is the easiest location, in my opinion, because I always have this fear that I will have a locker inside one park and find myself in the other park at closing time with no easy way to access the locker before leaving.

Yes, we will be getting there before the park opens. I'm thinking that might be the best option- getting a locker in the esplanade. That way we can get that first fastpass ASAP after rope drop. Thanks for the advice!

yes i agree.. and i too have never had any trouble with getting a locker..so i think you're good

Well ... if you try a few hours after park opening you might have trouble finding one of the larger ones, but I have not had a problem with lockers selling out either.

Just a side note the small lockers fit A LOT!

They can be difficult to obtain if you are going on days where the park reaches capacity (like New Years Eve).
