Questions about Kidani?

Last May we stayed at Jambo house and went swimming at Kidani. The pool was freezing and there were little black bugs swarming everywhere by the pool. When we went to get our things these black bugs were everywhere. They did not bite but it was disgusting. Anyone else ever have these problems at Kidani?

If it was May, they were probably Love Bugs.

When the love bugs are out you will encounter them at any resort you are at.

Love bugs were out in the middle of September when we were at WDW. We saw them at BCV and at AKV. They were not terrible then, but it's just a matter of luck.

One year it was so bad the steps to the train station were completely brown with them - We only saw three or four at Kidani the first week of Sept so it truly is not predictable as the how many will be around or where they will be.

One year our DS lived in Houma Louisiana, and that was our first introduction to the little pests. It was like a plague of biblical proportions. That was during a September visit.

Just went up this September, and on the drive up all you hear is "smack, smack, smack". Love bugs. Had to get the car washed as soon as we got off the turnpike!

Love bugs are a fact of life in FL. We drove from Orlando to Vero Beach to Hilton Head back to Orlando over 12 days at the end of September and I had to stop twice to scrub my windshield when the wipers just didn't cut it anymore!
