Questions about Joffrey's Coffee

Yes they make normal coffee. My husband prefers Joffrey's cause the line is shorter, and he is a coffee purist, being from Italy. It's usually a shot, caffe latte or cappuccino for him. The only addition I've ever seen him use is caramel.

Were you on the dining plan when he would do this? Was it still considered 1 snack credit if he added the shot of caramel?

I love coffee, and only drink it black. Joffrey's is pretty good. Dunkin' is excellent.

Starbuck's is an insult to good coffee. Their coffee tastes like they burned the beans. Their flavored coffees are for folks who don't really like coffee, but like the idea of people seeing them drinking "coffee".

While this hurts an Athens GA gal (go dawgs) to agree with a bama fan, I agree 100% with this. I drink mine black as well and even have an expresso machine at home where we grind our own expresso beans and Starbucks is like drinking 3 day old burnt coffee to us. The only "fancy" coffee I drink is cafe au lait which we make in our expresso machine and I don't put anything fancy in that just lowfat milk and some cinnamon.

The dining plan math has never worked for us, so I can't tell you what Joffrey's is like on the dining plan, but I think the caramel syrup was at the finishing bar or maybe he asked for it when he went there? Anyway, I don't think he was charged extra. He doesn't do the caramel all that often though, so it was two trips ago!

I was trying to be nice, but thank you. If we win on Thanksgiving (not holding my breath this year), I'll buy everyone on this thread a Joffrey's, how about that? (Even the Starbucks people. )
