Questions about HOJO

It says that the kids suite has a limit of 5 people, but if one of the people is 2 years old...will 6 be okay. I know we will fit fine...husband and I in king bed...older kids in bunk beds and grandma in pull-out. We would just get a pack n play for little guy. Are they going to let us do this or are they strict about 5 people.

Also does anyone know approximately how much the non-ET rate is for the kids suite? It's only available for 2 of the days we are there...I can't call until tomorrow but I wanted to have a rough budget idea today!

A word of warning, though. Check getawaytoday. com, too. I'm really irritated right now, because it turns out we could have saved over $150 from the HOJO's "Guaranteed best rate" if we'd purchased on that site, and we'd have gotten litle extras. The guaranteed rate is only guaranteed if you catch the difference in 24 hours of booking, or you're just out of luck.

We love the HOJO, but I also love to save money, especially in this economy, so I was really irritated about that, and by the time someone told me about it, Getawaytoday had sold out. So much for guaranteed best rate to make me feel good....

Oh, this should help answer your room questions, and whatever else pops up. It's HOJO's message board, and it even has little videos showing the rooms and they talk about additional crib room ,etc.

Hi, I have HoJo booked 4 nights in September for a kids suite, I called and asked if 6 people is okay and they said yes. We have six including a baby, I think if the extra person is a kid they are okay with it. We booked for 139 a night and that is with the 15% off entertainment rate. I'm still hoping for the full entertainment rate discount! Hope this helps.

I have it booked for the week between christmas and new years for our family of 6 (the baby is 2) and they approved that. We have a rate of 174 per night plus tax.

Emacat, are you aware that Hojo's offers DISboard members 15% off of the rate posted on the website? You have to phone reservations directly at the Hojo Anaheim and ask them about it. Tell them you are a DISboard member. If you are an AP holder, you would receive 20% off of your rate. It HAS to be the reservations people right at Hojo Anaheim, you can't phone central reservations.

We have stayed in the kids' suite with 3 adults & 3 olders kids with no problems. We put 2 of the kids on the floor on a queen-sized Aerobed instead of using the pull-out. You will be fine with your plan.

When I booked a few months ago for our July trip, the AAA rate for the kids suite was $129 per night. I haven't seen that rate for awhile, so I'm guessing I just caught it at the right time.

Well...in the end there were no kids suites available. I ended up getting 2 premium queen rooms, but i'm going to keep calling for the suite. Any idea how often I should call?

When are you going? I know I had originally booked a kids' suite for a whole week, but we ended up only needing it for 4 nights. I'd check the website or call daily since you just never know!
