Questions about Formal attire on 3night cruise?

Do kids have to wear a suit during the formal dinner on the 3 night DCL Wonder cruise?

I don't have a suit for my son but was thinking of bringing him a shirt and tie combo for him.

Also....please correct me if I am wrong....but is a shirt and Tie for adults sufficient?

( I'm really hoping that I do not have to bring my suit along ).

If there is a FAQ about formal attire for dining....let me know and I can check it out.

There is no formal night on three night cruise. You don't need a tie for jacket for anywhere you may eat including Palo.
