Questions about Everest...

Hello!

A few questions:

a) how long is the ride, from start to unload?

b) does anyone have a photo of the ride load and unload area?

c) I can not remember how it was when we exited the ride, was there a ramp that you walk down and can wait?

(I am thinking of Goofy Barnstormer, where as we were ready to go, my ds said "i want off" and the cast member let him off, and he stood at the side and waited for us. Granted, brother was at the end of the ramp watching him, but this time it is just the 3 of us. If he decides at everest once on "I want to get off" will he be able to wait for dd and I to do the ride, in a relatively safe area. Fyi: The CM's are not there to babysit him, and do not expect that.

I have a video of the ride and it is about 2 minutes and 45 seconds long

Nope sorry...but it's level with the ground so you don't have to step down. The unloading area is an open area, but the loading area has the chutes to line people up for the proper cart

You exit the same way you get on, which the ground is level with the cart and then you proceed through the gift shop. There is no ramp because the area is all pretty level.

The load and unload areas are a bit seperated. Therefore is he gets on the ride, then decides he "wants off," it might not be very easy to get over to the unload are. However, the unload area has a gift shop that the riders must walk through to exit the attraction. If he could get there, he could look around the shop while you ride.

As always, I suggest talking with the CMs at that attraction. They may know a good solution to your problem.

Thank you so much. i will do that, because if there IS a safe place for him to be alone, so I can still take dd on ride, then that would be great.

I have a bad feeling that he may want to opt out, even more so since it would be him riding alone rather than dd (who would rather ride alone. LOL)
