Staying at the Bay Lake Towers (DVC) and wondering about if I rent a ECV from one of the places that bring it to your resort, do they have someplace to charge them without putting it in our room?

Disney expects you to park the ECV inside your room, and charge it there when you are not using it.

Even folks who stay at the Value resorts, with the smallest rooms on the property, are expected to keep their ECVs with them inside the room.

When you rent an ECV (or any type of medical equipment) it is your responsibility to keep it in your room, or your possession.

Remember to charge your ECV fully overnight, every night, and you shouldn't have any battery problems during the day - if you do, be sure to call your rental vendor as soon as you see a problem so they can swap either the battery or the entire ECV. (I recommend keeping your rental vendor's contact info in your cell phone just in case) Most folks have no problems, but I like to be prepared! :)

If you are planning on taking delivery in the morning, and then heading out for a full day at the Parks, be sure to ask your vendor to delivery the ECV with the battery fully charged so you don't have to worry.

Mamabunny is right it is your respsability to keep you thing in your room, I stay at value with a friend that uses an ECV and we have had no problem with her ECV my medical things in the room. but please do not put it in the hall way as it will be in the way for others and any one can come a long and move it ( I have seen 2 younger looking boys moving someone else they were laughing about it and thought it was funny, I normally would have said something, but these people kept it blocking my door and would not move it)

Nope, it needs to go in your room. Also a heads up, was there last October and had a heck of a time getting on the elevator when I was by myself, those doors close quickly. Scared the heck out of a bunch of people lining up for TOWL, when the elevator door closed on my scooter! It opened back up when it made contact of course, but several people jumped to my rescue just in case.
We had a one bedroom, and had no problem fitting the scooter in to charge even with 4 adults and a toddler in the room.

Doesnt hurt to ask when you get there, I have seen many conflicting reports about this subject. One man staying at the wilderness lodge dvc claimed he was told to park it in the hallway when he picked it up from bell services because the ecv's were damaging the furniture in the rooms.
