Questions about DVC watches

I really want one, but I'm afraid they won't be around for our Oct. 9 trip. I've heard some people have been denied when trying to purchase over the phone & others have been able to. Are some resorts better to try than others? Our home is SSR, should I try there? Are the phone #'s in the memeber kit or can someone post the #'s here? What was the total price of the watch? I think they're $125, taxes? shipping? Thanks for any help.

I would try Vero and HHi first likeley to get one from there before the WDW locations.

I ordered from Vero. Calll their # and ask for the gift shop. Then order one.

For me, 4th time was the charm... I called BWV, then VWL, then BCV... each time I was transfered to the mail-order line, who can not sell them... Then I called VB, and got directly through to the gift shop... There is no published # for the gift shop. You have to call the resort's main #.

Just got through. I called the OKW front desk and just asked for the gift shop. I spoke to Kevin who was SO HELPFUL!!! So just ask to be transferred directly to the gift shop and you should be fine.

I called HH & asked for the gift shop, forgot his name, but he took my info & said he would try to get it out today. This guy didn't ask for my member # - shouldn't he have? I didn't ask him about that, I didn't want him to "look into it" & then tell me that I have to purchase in person @ a store. I'll let him slide since he let me slide

But then again, no lifeguards at SAB asked to see my BCV key card when I there in July either. I am starting to think that most of the exclusives are not that exclusive if no one enforces rules.

Which is why I am so surprised that there has not been a DVC watch on Ebay yet. What would you have been willing to pay?

I was charged $150 and change for my ladies watch.

I called Vero today and they said they were out and not getting anymore. She put me on hold when I asked if they were getting anymore.

Just ordered my wifes watch from HHi they have a bunch left I was told now to see what number she ends up getting. She is hopefully going to love this littl esuprise
