Questions about DVC villas

If you rent privately or through points, can you still get the dining plan and park hopper passes? I've never booked without going through Disney but it seems less expensive. Who makes the arrangements? Thanks!

If you rent points from someone, they can add the dining plan on for you....As for the park hopper, you can get that from WDW or one of the discount places they have online..Hope that helps! Also, any question about points you can check at the DVC forum..

The member that you're renting from will need to make all your arrangements for the resort, dining plan, and ME. You will make your own ADRs, and buy your own tickets.

Go on over to the DVC Rent/Trade board, and read all of the assorted FAQs and stickies. Renting from a DVC member can save you a ton of money, but it's not in any way like reserving a hotel room from Disney. It's important to understand the process, and be comfortable with it.
