We plan on getting there early, 8ish... but I really would like to have a swim time around noonish when it is a bit warmer. Also we would not have to rush thru breakfast and get oriented to the grounds, do the aviary a bit, ect.... how flexible are they are you picking your time if you are there early. thanks

We go every year and its first come first serve. The earlier you go in the early swim you get. I requested once to have a later one and they could not give me one but you could always ask! The waters are so cold where the dolphins are and the morning when we go in Nov. are chilly, but we did it anyway with my DD who was 6 her first swim shivering to death. I now know after 5 trips to put on the full body suits not just the vest for the dolphin swim. Have a great time it's the highlight of our trip every year!

hmmm maybe we shouldnt' show up till 830 ish..... i would much rather do it when the sun is shining after 1130am. Even though I know it will be as cold, it will feel warmer with the sun on our faces. Thanks, will be sure to get the whole wetsuit.

We enjoyed the Discovery Cove experience on 28th September 2009.
Arrived at 8:15 and requested a swim time of around 11:30 so we could get orientated and enjoy our breakfast. The lady who dealt with us was very accomodating and gave us a time of 11:20.
We had a great time, finished the swim and had a lovely dinner.

I suggest booking online. I booked our trip this summer when I was there about a month in advance from home here in Canada. I got to choose which time I wanted, showed up down there and everything was planned for us. Very well organized :goodvibes

I wonder if they had changed it.... as I booked back in January(for Nov) and we couldnt' chose a time.

just fyi... i just called to double check on my reservation and she was able to put my request that I would like a swim time around 1130... she couldnt' guarantee it, but could list it. So we will see.

Double check because I went June 28/2009 and booked it online thru their website just shy of a month before.

I'll look up the link for you in a bit :)
