Questions about Disneyland at Christmas Time

We will be there December 23-26. And have some questions. Will they offer any fantasmic during that time or is it strictly winter specialties.
I have had mixed experience with Christmas day. One year it was totally empty christmas day and on a more recent trip it was slammed christmas day. If anybody has been christmas day in the past couple years what has been your experience with crowds?

Also with WOC is the winter specialty mainly frozen stuff. I was annoyed as it is with the original one with Neil Patrick Harris at how much frozen they had in it. Every other scene was a short clip from a song but they played the entire let it go. I want to see something without frozen. They do the same thing with the fireworks at disneyland amd now getting annoyed of the frozen and now getting rid of aladdin.

So my next question. Is Christmas time like a frozen takeover for DR.

please check out the thread above as well.

F should be going on yes.
Frozen is a huge new franchise that is still giving Disney much revenue. I for one have a family who loves everything Frozen and I am excited to see it all.

Frozen has taken over a lot and will likely get its own land in WDW or DL at one point in time. However you cans till have a good time with out the frozen stuff jsut have to know where to look. Both WOC will be showing during the Christmas tome.

Well, Olaf hosts the Winter version of WOC...

Yes, Fantasmic! goes off twice a night, unless it rains.

The "original" WOC did not have Neil Patrick Harris, nor any Frozen.

In addition to Olaf's role in Winter Dreams, you will also find Olaf's Frozen Ice Rink in Downtown Disney, and Olaf's Snow Fest in Hollywood Land in DCA. Those are there temporarily, through the holidays (at least).

The other Frozen things (Anna & Elsa's meet & greet, the Boutique in Downtown Disney, the mini-Arendelle in the Storybook Land Canal Boat ride, the sing-along at the old Muppet theater and the show at the Royal Theatre in the Princess Fantasy Faire) are there year-round.

Yep. There's a whole lot of Frozen at DLR...

Sorry I don't mean original I meant more like non holiday.

So pretty much frozen does take over the holiday time

As I mentioned above, the majority of the Frozen things are there all year long, outside of the holidays. There are a few extra things added in during the holidays. So it's more like Frozen has taken over in general, not just for the holidays.

Ok thank you. I've done christmas at disneyland before it was all just before this frozen stuff. Also one more question I have had mixed experience with Christmas day. Every night time show but F! has a Frozen component. It's in both versions of WoC, PTN and Fireworks. As far as Winter Dreams, it was originally started 2 weeks before Frozen opened, so at the time it made sense that they'd promote it in the show. I'm not a huge fan of the movie, and when I saw Winter Dreams I thought it was annoying and made me want to see the movie less, so I feel your pain. It's a little awkward the way Let it Go is right in the middle of WoC Celebrate. I think it fits better in PTN and the current fireworks show. I'm eagerly waiting a reworking of WoC at this point and fingers cross F! doesn't reappear with a Frozen raft.

ok Love you all but
F. adding a frozen float would be so awesome. *DUCKS* but they don't need to sing during it just ride by.

I completely agree. It was cool at first but I feel like it's everywhere in every show now and getting rid of aladdin is a bummer. It was an ok show but they are to the point of way over doing it.

I don't think they would dare mess with fantasmic there would be too much of an uproar with that. It's one thing to throw it in fireworks, but to change F! would upset way too many people.

I went on Christmas Day last year and on the 26/ 27. The parks were as packed as I've ever seen them. From rope drop until closing time it was the worst crowds I have ever seen.
