Questions about DDP

I already have CRT booked and paid for. If we decide to go with the DDP, will I be able to call them and tell them we are now on the DDP and get credited back the money I had to pay for CRT?

Also, if we do go with the DDP do I need to call disney dining and let them know that we are on the DDP now or does it not matter?

Can you do the DDP for 12 nights?

Does the DDP include the picture from Princess Storybook Dining for breakfast or will we have to pay OOP for that? I know that when you pay for it OOP, the picture is included in the price, but wasnt sure about DDP.

Also how far in advance do you have to add DDP to your package? We booked through AAA.

If the photo package is included in the price of the meal, it's included in the dining plan.

You will be asked when you get to the restaurant if you're on the dining plan, so the server knows how to ring you up. It won't matter if you have it on your reservation or not.

Actually I just looked at the AAA Brochure and it states that the DDP does NOT include picture packages except for CRT.

If the photo package is included in the price of the meal, it's included in the dining plan.

This thread's about CRT. For now, CRT is the ONLY meal where the price you are given for the meal includes a photo package. Akershus will join it at the end of the month. It's anticipated that Akershus will also include the photo package for dining plan guests.

Actually the photo question was for PSD. May you misread the 1st post? Oh well no harm done! But anywho, good to know they will include PSD at the end of the month for pics.

I don't really know that because they haven't started including the picture package at Akershus yet.

That doesn't start until 4/27. We'll hear then whether or not dining plan guests get the photo package. But it's my understanding that it will be like CRT and be included. It wouldn't be on the brochure because at the time of printing, the meal and the photo package at Akershus were still priced separately.
