Questions about dark transfer paper

I want to print the designs that Pat (who rocks!!! ) made for our upcoming trip. One of the designs has a white font and a few small white areas. We want to print it on a black t-shirt. If I use dark transfer paper will the font and white areas show up as white? I know my printer doesn't have white ink but I was wondering whether the transfer itself is white so we'll be able to keep the font white.

If you use dark paper transfer on any colored shirt, it will retain any white areas as white. The transfer paper itself is white and that remains white. So go for it!!!

I use whatever is at ACM or Michaels and use my coupon.
